Rock On consists of Jules Rancourt, Katie Rancourt, Jay Stuart, and Tom Jordan, and together they're northern New Hampshire's premier classic rock cover band. For over a decade the group has brought their combined talents to everything from private parties to local fairs. Rock On is no stranger to the big stage, opening for major acts including Tanya Tucker, Sawyer Brown, Restless Heart, The Bellamy Brothers, and Billy Ray Cyrus, just to name a few. Their setlist of highly-requested rock classics keep people dancing from start to finish during their shows, with a few surprises thrown in along the way. For jams from the Beatles to the Doobie Brothers, from Creedence Clearwater Revival to Bryan Adams, book Rock On for your event, and audiences will be entertained all night long!
Jules Rancourt
Charismatic singer and guitarist Jules Rancourt is a long-time musician, having been signed to a Nashville independent label from 2003 to 2005, releasing three songs to radio, with his first release hit the national charts at #41. His second release topped the Texas Americana charts at #1 and stayed for several weeks, prompting a national tour, hitting 39 cities in 17 states from New Hampshire to Texas...and he hasn’t stopped rockin'!
As much of a powerhouse singer as she is a powerhouse drummer, Katie Rancourt is a natural-born, self-taught rock'n'roller. Making her debut at age 11 opening for Billy Ray Cyrus with her dad, Katie and her sister Jenna stole the show with two standing ovations, and she’s been delighting audiences ever since. Her energetic rendition of wipeout is always a hit at Rock On performances.
Jay has over 30 years of stage experience playing both keyboards and guitars (as well as a few other instruments from time to time). He has also been a professional music teacher for the past 36 years in northern New Hampshire. He loves to get the audience laughing and making sure they are having a good time. “I may be the new guy here, but I am definitely enjoying myself!” he says.
By day, a journalist, audio engineer, and music producer; by night, the bassist for Rock On, holding down the grooves. Tom has been involved with music his whole life, playing in multiple groups throughout northern New Hampshire and mixing sound for international bands through his work with the Great North Woods Center for the Arts. He is also an acclaimed commercial music and audio producer for clients worldwide.
